I get it. For me, I'd rather deal with less brain damage and send it back for a new one vs. making posts and YT vids that you now have to defend. I would assume you'd be sending this motor back for a new one anyway. What do you plan on doing with your broke motor?

Just took a look at my new TP CM motor and not seeing this sort of behavior. I did see some small amount of movement but not as much as yours had. Something to think about is there could be a small amount related to the bearing on the end cap, but if you can hear and feel it binding during the movement then that is certainly not normal at all.

That is a bummer man. Hopefully Ozzy gets you taken care of pretty quickly.

For what it is worth I took off the end cap and the rotor is a perfect cylinder and does not have any deviations of the diameter causing the air gap to change. I was impressed to find the level of detail TP went to shim the motor just right also. The front had 1 shim and 2 spacers and the rear was similar.
