Hello,
I bought second hand on ebay (not very smart, I know ) a Mojave EXB.
The previous owner did made a lot of upgrades.
The motor is the HW 5687 1100KV paired with a max6.
He removed LSD diffs and put blx diffs
The motor mount is a pps
Scorched Rc inner fenders
M2C shock caps and wheel nuts
Unbreakable body
Dumbo RC with Gyro
...
The car drives very well (tested on wet paved road) and I can easily power slide, it's definitively fun.
One HR wheel hub has play on one ball but the nut to tight it is rounded. Do you recommend tu buy the same HR (sold by two) or it's not really worth it ?
The rear right shock shaft is bended.
It's on 8S and without batteries it weight 7.1kg (15.6lbs), 8.1kg (17.85lbs) with batteries on 8S.
That's quite heavy.
I'm thinking to go back on a more conventional 6S build with the Max6, and I would keep the 1100KV for my X-Maxx.
What kind of motor would be the best for not extreme bashing in moderate temperature climate (Belgium)?
It seems Rcdude 81 is happy with the stock blx on the RTR and Hobbystar 4092 1480Kv on the EXB. I read also that 1650Kv is a good choice.
What do you think ?
Any other thing I could have missed ?
Thanks !
