Hey all,
Finally was able to measure my first asphalt speed run > 70.9 mph with a 20t pinion.

Really that's the only power train upgrade but I also have:
  • Zeeee 3s 100c Batts
  • 20t pinion gear
  • 2 hotracing fans on the motor
  • 1 high-powered fan on the esc
  • 35kg servo
  • Aluminum suspension arms
  • Aluminum links
  • Aluminum knuckles and yolks
  • Aluminum steering thing, can't recall the term
  • Aluminum big bore shocks
  • Separate 2s to run fans and lights
  • Lego Porsche lighting kit for headlights and taillights
  • Dust cover
  • Aftermarket 1/8 buggy tires
All in all pretty happy. Just picked up a serial pigtail to MAYBE run my 2 100c 3s together and see if I can get one pass in without melting my electronics lol. Currently my motor is running at about 142 Fahrenheit.

Cool. Nice speed with minimal upgrades.

The aluminum arms are risky though.

And your ESC will fry the moment you plug those batteries in with a series connector.

It's that off/on eh? No Grey area with it?

0% chance an ESC allows operation at voltage levels higher than the specs specify. No grey area.

Best case scenario is that it simply turns off.

But there’s a good chance it’ll die forever.

For some reason I decided to forget magic electrical theory. Running parallel would just give me a longer lasting battery not more power or punch..

That’s correct. Series increases the voltage. Parallel increases the amp hours (runtime).

How's the typhon running now? No gremlins I hope.
