Grew up eating Hellmann's. No Dukes around here. And I'm not paying 27.00 to try it. I figure when I'm south of here I'll certainly give it a try. But, you guys do realise it's eggs and oil. Unless you're feeding your chickens a special diet or producing your own oil, how much better or worse can you make it? My palate isn't that sophisticated. The Aldi's or generic brand mayos are good enough for me. And almost half the price of Hellmann's.

And Miracle Whip has it's place. Just not on a sandwich. Growing up many of the relatives brought salads to functions and a lot were made with Miracle Whip. Tasted good to me. And dad likes it. You can bet any salad he brings is made with it. No biggie. I buy a small jar every summer to make creamed cukes. Not the same with mayo.
