Has anyone ran the Max 5 with Castle's 1100kv?

I only ask because I did it temporarily when I kept having XLX2s fail on me. I was surprised at how well the Max 5 and Castle 1100Kv motor handled. No cogging or temperature issues. I ran it with adaptors too since I didn't plan on keeping the setup (8mm bullets to 6.5mm) but it still ran fantastic.

Also, if anyone has ran the Castle 1100kv motor with the MMX8S, I'd be interested in hearing your experiences with that.

I run the Max5 with the Spectrum 1100kv in my Kraton 8s exb. No issues at all. That esc is awesome, and cheaper than the Castle xls 2.

I just put together a system with the MAX5 and Hobbystar 56112 980kv (which is closer to the 200A limit than the 1150kv) and so far no issues. Previously the MAX5 was used with a TPPower 4070 and that was fine too.
