You're right, fell in love with the handling all over again. Got the GPS unit strapped on this morning & got 53mph on pavement before work. Ripped around the jobsite over my lunch break. Went thru 2 packs back to back, forgot my temp gun but the motor was just warm to the touch. Electronics/ gearing wise I'm running w/ everything stock & a couple of fans on the motor. I wouldn't want to get anywhere near that thing if it's got some speed, people call that roadkill! For me the wheel spikes are just pure intimidation. I just dig the "kick your a$$" mad max kinda look! Gotta watch the hell out when it's coming @ ya!!! Oh yeah, they're for "keeping dirt/ debris out of the inner hubs!"That looks like a perfect field for running a buggy. What's the purpose of the wheel spikes? Fending off attacks by wild animals?
