Talion Hot centre driveshaft

Hey guys so I’m just wondering what might be causing my front centre driveshaft to be getting absolutely red hot, even after 5 minutes of fartin around. The set screw has backed out a couple times as well, which caused the driveshaft to come loose. It’s not an Arrma it’s my Mugen truggy, but we all know this is where you go for 1/8 truggy advice. I suppose it’s most like a Talion

You check for any binding in the bearings, diffs, etc. Any resistance when you turn things by free-hand, look at the hubs, axles, etc, all free to move, nothing tangled around anything...wire. string, grass, cords, etc. Diffs turn as normal good fluid, no gear grinding, crunchy sounds, or feel like anything is locking.

Is that so? Like a cherry red? Does it glow in the dark when you shut the lights?

Like @parcou said, there's some binding going on. Disassemble and investigate further. Don't replace parts until you know for a fact what the guilty part(s) is(are).
