Looks like a pretty beefy slipper spindle but I don't like the idea of a steel spur gear.

The exploded view of it makes it look like it would indeed be a stronger slipper, less total parts vs stock and the tension is adjusted by the hex nut.

The whole setup is similar to how Traxxas does their slipper clutches in their 3s models that don’t have a center diff.

I’ve considered getting one for my
v1 Kraton 4s, the slipper in it has been nothing but problems. I haven’t driven it because of slipper issues.

What I find odd is I replaced my rear ring gear and input gear to the metal ones and it seems quieter to me than the old plastic ones.
That is odd

Thank you guys! It seems like a fairly new product. I may be the guinea pig 😀.

I don't have too much trouble with the BLX slipper though so 🤔.

Let us know how it works out. I don't have much problem with my slipper after a slight learning curve of properly setting it.

I beleive it is the same clutch but with a narrow metal spur (vs. a wider plastic spur).

You can check the exploded views on the arrma website though for part numbers. 👍
