I am building 2 builds which seem to be very close to the same vehicle (which I'm not happy about lol) I got a brand new Typhon 6s roller (it was cheap so I couldn't pass it up). I was already in the middle of building a Dilwe (zdracing) Pirates 3. When I got the typhon I saw that it looked pretty dam close to my dilwe. The parts are very close and can swap some. Anyways, I had to modify the Dilwe motor mount to fit a 56 series motor but the motor is hitting the drive shaft. Which im sure will happen with my typhon also. Pics attached. Any ideas are appreciated.

I think once you have a pinion installed, the motor will be pushed over enough to avoid the driveshaft,I imaging you will be running 34+ tooth pinion?....I am new enough to rc cars myself so just thinking out loud
