HW Programming Card - Fried?

Hey all,

I plugged my HW programming card into the fan port on the ESC and nothing happened. It didn't light up at all. I also noticed the box felt pretty warm. I had the ESC plugged into a 4S battery at the time. I have not gotten the card to turn on or work at all since this happened. Is it possible to fry a programming card? If so, what would cause this? Thanks in advance!

Was it plugged in the right direction.
Are you plugging directly into the esc or through a fan extension?

I believe it was plugged in the correct direction. Will it harm things to switch it?
It was plugged directly into the ESC, through the port where the ESC fan connects.

Well if it is fried, now’s your chance to buy the wifi module…….I love it. I think it’s the same price but could be wrong.
