Is there a rpm steering rod end that will fit kraton 6s?

Ya my pivot ball keeps falling out and the steering rod falls down and then binds
The stock ones stretch pretty fast, I'm sure there is a compatible rod end to replace the offset one's, but I don't know what it would be? Arrma sell a tie rod end pack which will get you out of trouble, but you will be back in the same situation again soon.

I have a V4 Kraton and I have the same problem, my straight searing rod ends stretch quickly. I tried the RPM for Traxxas ones listed above and they are WAY to small and will not fit.
Are you sure you got the 80512 or 80515? They make shorter ones, that you can use for the shock rod ends, but I have these on my cars v3 vehicle's.

Unless I am missing something there is no way these are will fit on my v4 kraton front end turnbuckles. The Kraton turnbuckle and ball is on the left, the RPM is the blue one on the right?

In the same boat now. Are there upgrade rod ends that fit the kraton? Team associated? Rpm?

ive been looking for the same thing, i guess arrma factory are the only option? the ones on my outcast 6s are worn out was looking for a stronger replacement. maybe some off a different rc techno maybe?

I need to apologise for misleading people above without giving all the details required to make the listed tie rod ends work. As said above this is what is required. I'm really sorry for missing this vital piece of intimation.
You need to use the Traxxas balls in the rpm rod ends

The rpm site does highlight this, but I should have provided the information and part number "Tech Notes: RPM long rod ends replace Traxxas stock #5525. Sold without pivot balls. Stock Traxxas pivot balls are required for completion."

These are the pivot balls I use the rest of the stuff isn't useful as far as I know https://m.traxxas.com/products/parts/1942

I'm sorry again for not being more helpful.

will the traxxas long ends work in place of the bent/offset ends,
I would assume that would throw steering angles off, but I’m honestly not too sure ? Looking at the gpm steering turnbuckle sets... they have straight rod ends? It might work they are about the same length....

There is also this option that I think might work?

Instead of getting a kit with rod ends you don’t wanna use to get the pivot balls. You could get a set like these...

I;ve been browsing RC4WD's site. They have some pretty interesting stuff but mostly 3mm rod ends. I'm not sure what size the Kraton rods are. I think 4mm.
I 'm not going to be a heavy basher and was looking at the aluminum ones they have and tapping the hole to 4mm if need be.

Aluminum offset.

GPM tie rods are garbage, please don't waste your money, they are very weak.

Sounds good, the Traxxas set is pretty cheap, it's only a waste of environmental resources.
will the Traxxas long ends work in place of the bent/offset ends,
Have you ever had any issues with the Arrma offset ones? They have been very reliable for me.

I didn’t mean to imply to purchase those... sorry if it came across that way... I was only making reference to them making a set of turnbuckles that had the straight instead of the bent rod ends.

I’ve kinda gathered through personal experience and word of many people through threads here and other places, that gpm has a “possibility” of being good. But for the most part their products are just cheap junk. The arms that I have I got in a deal I made for a kraton with many parts so I didn’t personally buy those myself ? I just have them so I’m using them till they break ha. They look good ??... for now.

I did find it interesting when I installed them that they did NOT have the bent rod end. So far that vehicle hasn’t been driven much but it seemed to drive normal?

I built that vehicle from parts tho so I have no idea what it performed like stock, only driven it with the GPM turnbuckles
