Started painting this thing. Looks cool but i had a lot of bleed on the tape. 1st time.

#noob

Im gonna get the outcast body mounts. This body needs to be raised.

If anyone has done this, i would appreciate some tips.

Thanks

I did one. Had to the trim the back to make it fit. I also had to change the body posts.

Same body. Shattered real fast. Maybe too much paint? maybe user error. Anyone else feel this body shattered easily?
I had several colors including chrome. Paint is best with one or two light coats. Lexan doesn't become as brittle I feel.

I’m not a fan of the Proline bodies. I painted up and spent a bunch of time on my Silverado one for my Nero and got a massive crack from a good rollover. Never even jumped the truck. Stock body much more durable. I’ll be mending this one and try to get it to stay together for a bit anyway.

I beat the snot out of mine and it held up well considering I didn't reinforce it. I still have it.

PL Brute armor for my Kraton. Not happy. Horrible fit. Precut and drilled. PL replaced the first one. Second one been sitting here for a month now. That sucker is heavy. I think it is ugly as sin.Just doesn't fit right. Sides too short. Holes drilled wrong. PL said they fit the second one on a Kraton they use. Have no motivation to make this fit. It's not as easy as Lexan.
