Kraton Kraton V3 slider chassis

Kraton 6s slider showed yesterday. It looks great. It's a V3. RPM arms. Really clean & straight. No damage, very little use. I'll throw a tower brace on. Got leftover takeoff V5 Notorious parts if I need them. This slider has a V5 motor mount already. A weird Talion looking body came with it. I'm not sure about that yet. Is it a discontinued Proline body? Looking at a 4292 motor. Considered a TP4060 but I think the 4292 is what I'll do. I mocked up the Notorious tires & I'd rather have the Copperhead Kraton tires. Or. if anyone has suggestions they have on a 6s Kraton on tires they use.

I run the Outcast/Notorius tires on all my Kratons. They don’t balloon as much. Backflips to me are the best tire on the market for a Kraton. Prolines are either too big or too small . The Copperhead 2 are good but a little big for my likin. Belted 6s tires tend to be big and heavy or have a road tread. I’ve tried all kinds and always end up with Backflip’. I’m still searching though.

Good to know! I got my Notorious tires & I'll just throw them on when the build is done. Got thru building the diffs today. The obligatory 60/500/30. I had a o-ring type aluminum diff case I never used from a ways back. Heard they leak bad so I went w/ Arrma type on my Notorious. Thru some RTV on there on this build & hope it's all good.
