Started with the rolling chassis kit that Kyosho includes several of the "typical" upgrades with. Put in Horizon's Onyx 4k motor and ESC combo, along with a Dumbo receiver. Had a JX 9kg, low profile servo, so that's why is in it and I'm pretty happy with how it handles. I've run four 2S packs through it with stock gearing and it goes 37 mph. It drifts beautifully on new, clean asphalt, but as you can see in the second picture, I already need a new set of tires.
I did turn down the punch on the ESC, but that's all I've changed from the factory setups on anything... so far.
I also have a new body that I haven't painted yet, but got a deal on this Kyosho one and thought I'd use it as I was dialing in the new ride. Ya know... just in case.
