I'm going to do a parts bin build but going to wait until I know what I want to build. With so many interchangeable parts between the models, there are tons of possibilities. Kratons with Typhon arms, Mojaves with Kraton arms, Typhons with Talion towers and Kraton hubs/axles, etc. What kind of Frankenstein builds have you done? How do you like it?

Wish I could say I built this but I did not . I bought this mix here from RCP:

• Infraction shocks & towers
• Infraction arms, CVDs, and /dog-bones
• Kraton chassis
• Talion body

Some great looking rigs so far!

Still thinking, but right now Im leaning towards going with a Kraton chassis, hubs/axles/hexes with Typhon arms/towers/shocks. I'd go with a truck body and Backflip LPs or Trencher LPs for tires. I prefer the Trenchers on 4s, Backflips on 6s.

I guess it would be more of a Typhonized Kraton than a truggified Typhon, lol.

Your build was one of the main reasons why I decided to do a typhon gt. Mine obviously didn't come out anywhere near as sexy as yours but man are these things a blast!

Arrma Asuga - kraton chassis, mojave arms, exb diffs, typhon shock towers and typhon tlr shocks.

Arrma Beast - Talion chassis, arms, kraton towers, fireteam shocks (tlr in pic), EXB diffs. I forgot what bumper that is, maybe kraton rtr? and I think talion hexes/hubs

ONI - Started off as a stretched typhon with felony towers/shocks(typhon rear tower in pic), diffs and tires front/rear. As of now I put the felony rear diff in the front and front in the rear and I run same size tires on all 4 corners. Works perfectly.

Grizzly - stretched typhon with outcast 8s wing - limitless towers/shocks

Tcat - Typhon tlr chassis, tlr shocks and wing, kraton towers, kraton hubs, hexes

How do you like the MethodRC tires on this build? I thought about doing one like this except Typhon arms/Kraton hubs which should be fairly close to Mojave width. Initially thought Backflip LPs/Trencher LPs for tires, but those Method Mojave tires are a nice option, the size is basically like a taller version of belted Badlands that don't need $70 aluminum hubs to run 6s.

I love them for ripping on the street and light off roading. They grip good on road and even more fun when bald. I got a lot of packs out of them before I replaced with new.

-silicone ear plugs in all three diffs (locked-ish)
-castle 1717 1260 KV geared 11/50
-dual NSDRC RS800v2 steering services (radio box relocation)
-8" RC4WD wheels and tires
-much more to come, details with be in the build thread. I have laser cut parts on the way.

Super fun and capable trail vehicle/kinda crawler!

Thanks, the capabilities are far better than anything I dared to hope for when I initially came up with the idea!

Lots of great rigs so far. Most of the parts for my build should arrive this week. I decided to build a "Typhonized" Kraton:

-Kraton chassis, hubs/axles/hexes, super basher front bumper
-Typhon arms, towers, and shocks

Still trying to decide on the body, but will be a truck body. Still need to decide on tires, considering Mojave tires but will try out the Backflip LPs and Trencher LPs I have on hand just to see how they fit and handle.
