I just use a speed calculator, ...it really is just a rough idea as it doesn't/can't take into account things like drag, weight, wind resistance etc etc but as I said good for a rough idea.I have no idea how to calculate theoretical speed (haven't gotten there yet). This is based on 6S.
Sorry I'm being daft - what information did you use and what was the speed?I just use a speed calculator, ...it really is just a rough idea as it doesn't/can't take into account things like drag, weight, wind resistance etc etc but as I said good for a rough idea.

That is the calculator I use. What's the transmission ratio then? I'm trying to use RC Car GearCalc to see theoretically top speed.
It's not 127 on 2s.... Is it?
Got it. It says 104MPH at 16.8V which I know it will never be, but just wanted the theoretical! That is the calculator I use.
For that spot that says transmission ratio put in 3.3
To get more accurate results don't put in 25.2 volts because in a speed run you have significant voltage sag. I'd probably input 19V as a ball park and that should make the calculated speeds pretty close.
You just need to fill in the boxes with all the info relating to your RC.Sorry I'm being daft - what information did you use and what was the speed?
