V2. Thanks for the compliments on the paint. Unfortunately I got alot of trash in my first coat because the lexan has so much static.XLX2 looked good where you have it sitting in the pic (which is actually the best place for it). You can print a template of the bottom screw holes from the Castle website and use that to make holes in the area you want it to sit. Then you can screw it in from he bottom of that piece (which actually is easily removed). The easy way would be to just use a good double sided tape like Gorilla Tape or 3M double sided velcro and stick it in place. I've used the Gorilla Tape on most of my ESCs (MMX8S and XLX2) and never had a problem. That paint job is top-notch by the way...I wish I could paint that well! LOL Nice build also. Is it a V1 or V2 Limitless?
Here's a link to the mounting template. Just click on where you see XLX2 Mounting Template and you can download a pic of where the screw holes are with measurements as well: https://www.castlecreations.com/en/castle-mamba-xlx2-resource-page
You can also check EBay for tower to tower braces with brackets for placing the XLX2 behind the center diff mount: https://www.ebay.com/itm/275891702647
