1300ft isn't all that much and that end zone looks like a deathtrap waiting to pounce. But you're right, it does have potential.

Tex is local to me and I think we sucked him into speed running.... (sorry about your wallet feeling lighter )

Yes! it is.
There's about 100 acres of open play directly on the other side of that fence.

Began shaving down the rear today.
Always use junk cheap tools for something like this. It ingested a ton of the plaster dust LOL

Initial cut and leveling:

Added a center channel that will be lower than the sides or they might meet further down? Unsure yet....

Foam to fill the majority of the void:

Now I begin adding the plaster and sheetrock mud FUN

This is one beautiful body if I don't mind saying so myself!

Plaster and sheetrock bodies tend to be brittle and quite heavy. Collisions are not recommended.

Once completed I'll have a mold of this shape and cast a fiberglass or carbon fiber body.
They can take a serious hit and hold their shape. They will protect the car inside much better than plastic bodies can.

I had shelved this project, but recently I have been running the FC100 with great results and figured it was time to complete this project. I think at speeds over 140 it should have plenty of aero drag to show the modified body has benefits over the original.

That's actually the quantity price..
You need to place an order of 6 or more CF bodies ,to get that sweet price point.

It will have a legit adjustable airfoil suspended between the two side plates.
Something roughtly like this.
The diffuser will come up to meet the rear of the body also.

I was looking at the rear of the VTE2 today and figure i can customize this further to be specific to this rear shock tower.
I should be able to bring the rear of the body down quite a bit...
