Kraton Motor upgrade questions - parts needed?

I’m planning upgrading my Kraton 6s V5, at some point later in the year, with a Castle Mamba Monster X 8S, with 1717-1650KV sensored motor.

Will I need anything else to fit this combo into my Kraton? Will it fit the standard motor mount?
Will I need a new pinion?

Still new to this, so I'm learning... ;-)

No parts needed.
As for pinion I’d start with a 17-18T and go from there. But it all depends how you bash (speed runs vs jumps), which tires, ambient temps etc. You may end up with a > 20T pinion.
The Castle is often used with speedrunning in mind, for bashing you may want to consider Hobbywing Max6/4985 1650kv Combo.

Pick up a 46t infraction spur just in case you want to go up in pinion size/have even lower motor temps and faster speed
