She goes great , even treated her to a new set boots from Jenny’s , the little typhon does show up how uneven my lawn is , but it’s great for whizzing around the trees , even made a track up . Love it

And so ……. The buggy was great , but the Mojave truck is better , so back to the Mojave chassis , after noticing the uneveness of my lawn , I’ve gone for the kraton towers n shocks this time , have softened the shocks and hopefully this weekend shall see her glide over the garden with ease , less jumping about , no wing , no body , non belted talion tyres . Love it

A superb day whizzing up n down me garden , ended with a bust rear diff , but that’s an easy fix . Love it

What a great day with the truck , I have locked the rear diff with earplugs due to lack of gaskets and fluid after yesterdays break . Will keep an eye on the uk breakers for a diff , in the mean time , started the day on talion non belted and 20t pinion , until I smacked a tree . Then swapped to a 12t pinion and cooperhead 2’s . Some funny angles with the locked rear diff .

so what have i learnt whilst the truck was in lightweight larry mode , with talion towers n shocks , and kraton towers n shocks . the handling is superb , great fun blatting about me garden , but you know what , i`m going back to the mojave chassis , could you say its my perfect match ? the little DXF 100c 4200 battery pack is fairly light too , but its swelling after only a few runs from new . this hobby is great , any truck can be anything . so for me , the kraton XL ( mojave chassis , kraton arms etc ) will take some beating , cos you can run copperhead 2`s on the loose rough stuff , or talion katars , well anything . love it

Todays weapon of choice . Started the day as a kraton XL , ended up as Kraton EXB chassis , talion towers , kraton / Mojave shocks . Talion non belted tyres , cut down kraton shell for the low mean look . Love it

So the truck went back to the Mojave chassis running copperhead2 tyres , but they are too grippy for me on my lawn …. Fast forward to today , and I remembered I had a talion v4 chassis that I had bent previously , so got home from work and with a hit or 3 with a big hammer and the chassis was straight , a short time later , the talion was born . A great little handler she is , so much so I have a talion EXB chassis coming from Jenny’s . Yeeeeeee harrrrrrr

Hello fella , for where I live now , the talion is is for me . The kraton XL works great , the kraton chassis with talion wheels n tyres work great …….. arrrggghhhh they are all good in there own right . For rough stuff , copper head 2’s on Mojave chassis , kraton arms . I can do a full swap in 20 mins now . It’s great

Right razz007, ahve just had a talion chassis delivered so the mongrel build'll be full talion rather than kraton wi talion bits on. Ah think ah'm right in thinking the mojave braces are needed, which is handy cause ah've got these. What driveshafts do ah need tho?

hello there , the centre driveshafts are kraton 6s , but swapped front to rear i think , i just have a pile of bits that i grab, but sure they kraton swapped

Cheers Razz, that's grand! Didn't want to start stripping a fully built truck only tae be stuck with two part builds waiting for parts!
Only thing is if ah've most of a spare build sat it'll inevitably become another anyway!

New wingmount turned up and fitted , centre hoop found and fitted , help save the fans on roll over as I rarely use a body , EXB front bumper also located and fitted as I seem to be attracted to my trees a good afternoon had belting around me garden , still on standard talion chassis , I will get a talion body soon , hopefully . It’s the little typhons turn next for rest of weekend and next week . Love it

Boooo hoooo , the little ones servo has packed up , so got a replacement on the way So that’s mean it’s talion time tomorrow . Yeee harrrrrr

Got the day off , so spent a small amount of time on the talion , added ic5 connectors instead of the 8mm , and soldered up the two new fans , lovely jubbly

The tiddler is fixed and tested after a fresh monster downpour and new servo fitted , got a selection of body clips coming for both too . My talion chassis tracking stopped on the 28th ? Never done that before ?

One talion with backflip lp’s on wet grass = a very good time indeed . My talion EXB chassis has arrived from Jenny’s , unfortunately it went to an old address , god knows how , but hey , a friend has collected . I also purchased a V5 open diff , gonna try one on the rear . Lovely jubbly
