This was my first RC, nothing rare or special other than the fact that it’s mine.

First mod was widening it with RPM Typhon parts because I was constantly rolling it. Pic shows only front done.
Then I broke a front c-knuckle and replaced all that with aluminum. Mounted a light bar on the bumper and hung some dog chain off of it. Added Duratrax belted Lockups and couldn’t keep axles in it.
Went ahead a made the move to 4s 130a Spektrum with 2400kv motor and 18t pinion. Shredded diffs so changed those out to the EXB ones. Running RCAWD axles and those have been doing better than the stockers. Now I’m fighting the slipper clutch, keep wearing out pads. Now trying aluminum ones from HR. Haven’t ran too many packs thru since then but they seem to be holding up.

Why I went back to 3S on my BR BLX!

Belted tires add so much wear. Then you chase diff gears (input crown to metal) next slipper to metal, then axle cannot take the belted tires need CVD driveshafts, on-on, on... and $$$$

BR is still fun at 3S and just getting it to run cooler with better electronic and keeping it light brings lots of fun and none of this pain. I heard it many times before going down the hole...just get a 6S rig. I did a Kraton EXB. Now they released the new 4S rigs

Enjoy but do not get too off track...those belted tires add SOOO much weight and change everything. I added the Proline Badland MX2.8 vented with diff weight 30/15k or 20/20K controls that power and not bad ballooning....as well as I said keeping the electronics cool
