Glad to see you building it and can't wait to see it done. I love the build list. It helps keep things organized and it's also a parts list if you need to replace anything.

A couple of unsolicited thoughts. Feel free to ignore them if you want.

Your gearing seems a very aggressive? I got something like 400 mph on 8S, which isn't going to happen. Even of 4S it's not realistic, unless I missed something?

I would suggest keep the stock spur and a mid 20's pinion. See how the car handles and work up to the speed. If you gear too high you will have nothing but heartache and pain.

What's your plan on batteries, 4S, 8S? By the looks of it you can fit one on each side and you won't need the center brace for the ESC. I had one originally, on my V1 and moved the ESC to the pan because I didn't like the center brace. I use the center brace for the receiver.

The PH are fine but I don't think they will supply the juice to get the high speed if that's what you are looking for.

What is your plan for a radio?

That is a nice build, the only thing I would change is the power hobby lipos.
Stick with SMC

As Jerold pointed out you will likely need to purchase about $250 worth of Saga pinions and slowly work up to speed.
You wouldnt want to go out the first day and crash the car....

You need to first run at 60 then 80 then 100 then 110 and so on.... Each increase of 10-20mph brings new challenges and you need to learn them and work through them.

You will also need a long range radio. At a minimum look at the RC6GS V2. That is a good starter radio and will take you into the 100-140 mph range.
Beyond that you will need to look at a signal booster or possibly the Radio Master MT12

im planning on 8s and im useing a dx5c

My recommendation is to find a YT tutorial and follow what they did.
The signal boosters are universal and not model specific.
ok i think for the time being im gonna run 39 stock spull and a 38 pinion idk ill prob start on 6s

Download an RC gearing app on your phone and plug in 21v for 6s and roughly 27v for 8s.
I highly recommend starting with slower speeds around 100 ish

The Radiolink RC8 radio claims 1900 feet of range, if true that's a crazy distance for a unboosted radio.. I would probably just get one of these instead of adding a signal booster. Its a lot more expensive than the previous version, the RC6 was but it looks a lot more full featured also. I like the large color screen of this, looks great. The Flysky Noble Pro is probably my favorite radio, I wonder if this has the same feeling of quality as the Noble

It's most likely legit. I've seen tests of the RC6GS (with the R7FG receiver) exceeding the 600m they spec. This is with the Dual-Antenna receivers.
