Another (fix) is probably to change center diff oil to something heavier.
The problem is the front tires ballon like a crazy pizza slicer to much with heavy throttle use. The rear tires don't.

edit:
put front tires back and rear tires front, now front ballon less.
also stiffen rear shocks and loose up front shocks.

made a big difference.

I don't own a MT plus 2 but I would imagine the 17mm hubs from a hobao buggy would fit. Letting you use any 17mm hex wheel.

Hobao Hyper MTE2 17mm Wheel Hex Hubs part number: OP-0136
Apparently HPI ones should work as well according to JayTee RC videos about 17 Hex

Truck stock have: 20mm Wheel Hex hubs & 17mm Wheel nuts
Stock Tires are big: 197mm diameter, 105mm wide

Proline 1/8 Trencher HP BELTED F/R 3.8" MT Tires Mounted 17mm Black Raid are sized: 170mm diameter and 105 mm wide

I don't know if there is any bigger tires with 17 hex.
(Someone might find this useful.)

This is a fun truck, (completely different feel compared to driving a Arrma or Traxxas.)

I own the MTE +2. I blew a tire apart. And just used Tekno +4mm hexes with some corally tires/wheels that i had. Direct bolt on.

Good to know, I ordered the 42 motor mount holder so after a motor change I will probably change tires.
