  2. Typhon 6s
Has anyone seen the news about Amain Hobby and their newly branded tires? I bought one of each type of tire, but a complete set to try out on my Typhon 6s and Senton 3s.

My order comes Monday!!

yes they look good but I don't run 1/10 scale and live in the uk so will probably never be able to get them anyway 😐

Those tires look killer. 👀
They really do. You should see them in person. I actually have concerns for my rear diff with these things. They're not only aggressive, they're a pretty soft compound too. I think my diff's days are numbered lol.

those poor diffs 🤣

I just put those on my Senton 3s, then my esc took a dump,😳😖. Not because of the tires though, because it was just it's time. Those look good! I did trim up the Senton body a bit because it looks like the tire may rub a bit when I give it the beans!

Update--.Dirt Claw does not fit on the Typhon 6s. The hub assembly is to stout, and the rim and where the 17mm hex mounts to the hubs is not recessed enough 😢. I also bought the Saw Blade and mounted it to my Senton3s that I've already converted to the 17mm hubs, and it looks amazing. Shortly after, though, my esc died, but not at any fault of the tires. It was just its time. 😂

Unless they are excessively heavier than 2.8 MT belted Trenchers, stock motor, esc, and gearing would be more than fine running those tires. I used the aforementioned tires, along with GRPs, as my on road tire.

Yours looks good. No, it's not the weight of the tires that faulted the ecs, just the esc itself. This is the second esc I've had to replace on the Senton 3s though.
