What kind of other cars do you or have you owned??

It's been so long I can't even remember all of them. I had a duratrax 1/10 buggy, a 4wd nitro truck can't remember the brand but it sucked, most were nitro I had one electric stampede, my favorite though was an hpi Baja 5b, 5th scale buggy with a 2 stroke gasoline engine. That thing was awsome.

Thanks to this forum I was able to order my Outcast, charger, batteries etc for a lot cheaper than I expected.
I may have made one mistake. I ordered two 3s packs 7600mah 75c.
I've been reading that I should have gone with two 2s packs instead because I'm liable to destroy something. I'm unfortunately tapped out after ordering all this stuff.
What should I expect and be aware of when I start running my truck?
Is there any advice you could give me so so I don't wind up destroying something on the first day?
Definitely bash somewhere with lots of space till u get the hang of it.my outcast blast and so will yours

Thanks sorry if I asked a dumb question I'm new to this hobby on my been in it for a little over a week now
You're not alone brother. I (now covered in dust totally rebuilt and upgraded slash ) I know somewhat enough to be dangerous. Now that I have entered into the major league I am lost more often than not. Every reply I have gotten has been on point and legit. A ton of good people in here.

Turning down the punch setting all the way might help some. You could always experiment with that a little bit.

Agree with Chevy when I let my son behind the wheel of the put cast I turn my punch setting to default which is 4 then I turn the throttle trim down till I lose reverse then bump it forward slightly so he still has the ability to stop and reverse but the power doesn' come in until later hope this helped some
