Typhon New Typhon running MX28's

Hi Guys,

Just a few photos of my latest Arrma.

She started off as a standard Typhon 6S (as they all do i guess, LoL).

Before running i added Kraton hubs to allow the MX28's to be fitted. Ive then added TBR mud guards and a TBR Bastion bumper.

As you can see from the final photo it was very much enjoyed by my lad over the weekend.

It is however losing way too much power to the fronts and before wiring/taping the wheels i will increase the centre diff fluid thickness.

I'll keep you posted on progress.

Did you use any axle spacers, or is the car stock?

Edit, now I see you said you have Kraton hubs..

Sweet! I had researched big o-rings from the website in the attached image. I believe it was one of these that fit nicely on the mx28's and still allowed ballooning, but far less.

I'm thinking even thicker or a harder material could help even more. Anyway - it's worth trying a couple of these sizes or others.

If you do, you might wanna measure and look up sizes as I think I probably placed a couple orders from there and I can't remember which was which. ?

I want to stop as much of the lose mechanically first, then i will look at the ballooning after that.

Great idea though, as I've not had much luck with taping and i recon i would be as unsuccessful with wiring too LoL.
