O'Ring of the pivot balls of My Outcast 6s goes out

Take the o ring off, carefully peen the last three threads with a punch. Screw them in and never have a pillow ball cap come loose again. Also put a couple turns of electric tape on your Allen wrench so it doesn’t go thru the cap and never strip another hub carrier. Easy peasy, and free...

I do have the tape on my allen wrench I use for the caps but haven't considered the peening of threads. I bought some nuts last night from M2C to try out on the next truck that gives me trouble but I'll also try your trick. ?

My Outcast has this same problem (new straight out of the box). The act of driving it makes the pivot ball retaining nuts back out. The only way to keep it from doing that is to tighten it down but then it cannot steer. Annoying AF!
