Outcast Rear gear housing 6s inner corner looks weak,

Broke my notorious 6s rear gear housing from a medium jump no big deal! After purchasing a new housing I was shocked from the quality ? one of the inner corners looks badly craved and weak, should i replace it ?

Then the steel insert for bearing obviously broken loose from the surrounding plastic housing ...

For all I knew I was looking at the new gearbox. Hard to tell what we are supposed to be looking at without any sort of context.

Thought maybe they were referring to the grind mark on the chassis under where the ring gear rides.

What 3 or 4 used chassis I have seen post use have all had ring gear gouges

One of the corners is kind of craved in a very bad way which makes it weak when screwing

Hi, I have replaced the housing and noticed that in one corner, the plastic is weak and craved which made the plastic so thin and yes i agree the bearing cover needs replacement or i will replace the bearing when the post arrives.

What 3 or 4 used chassis I have seen post use have all had ring gear gouges

Yeah thats one thing but is it something i should worry about? I was more concerened about the finishing of one of the corners inside the housing, when i inserted the screw it looked like it wont hold well due to the way it was badly craved

Every single chassis I have has those too. It just goes to show the forces that these things go through.
