Limitless Weak braking with hobbywing esc

I just took my limitless out with hobbywing max 5 esc and braking is horrible, it barely stops any ideas or something I need to do

Is it new? G1 or 2? A programming card is the easiest method IMO. However, you can program it through the set button (G1). Default setting for brakes on the G1 is 50 percent..

Is this your first time running the limitless?
Or you have used it before and it is worse with the HW esc?

I ask because many people are not used to the poor braking power when using speed run gearing.

No it's a new rig , my others have castle stuff and no issues with braking at all.. this won't even stop from 10 mph... It's working but very weak

I'd try to go through the ESC settings and turn up the braking power.
Then probably try the throttle and brake recalibration again, just to be sure.

Beyond that I don't know, I have not used a hobby wing in about 4 years.
