Senton SENTON 8s build just because

I've had max6 in mojave,notorious and now its time for the senton. decided I didn't want to continue past 103 mph with max6. So making some changes, im gonna try a light weight off road 8s senton just for the hell of it, because I've never seen one before. Gonna try feeding the tp 4030-2070KV on 8s like its rated for. We'll see if the Itty bitty motor can handle it. Heres tp4050 & tp4030. 40×81 vs 40×67 both rated for 30 volts.senton and noto stripped down.

There about 100 gram difference between motors.wont be a long wait,plan on shooting video of first run an power of truck tomorrow.useing all parts laying around and borrowed off other trucks ive got. Nothing will be bought for this 24 hr build.this covid crap has me going to work an sitting at home and this is the crap I come with being bored outa my mind.heres where im at now.

if i can keep this tiny motor cool on 8s i will be amazed.starting with 16/46..this at 26volts.this little motor should sound above 50,000rpm just screaming.

Buggy tires are gonna get tested too

This I want to see. When I'm done the 6s build and hit 100mph, next logical step is to bring it to 8s as either the Monte Carlo or Trans Am.
My only hangup outside of still waiting for shims is my esc/motor combo. Max 8 or mm2? Maybe even Max 6? I like that it can take 8s but does this mean it's underpowered at 6s?

Max8 with tp4050. Then max6 same tp both on 6s same gearing...max6 is smoother thouout rpm range a more power everywhere..spend the extra 30$ for the max6

Senton exb 8s..lol ill try 2×3700mah 60c 4s packs at first ,if all good throw couple big boys in.iwxpect way more than enough power,60-70% throttle should be plenty .mojove with this setup would wheelie at any speed just blipping the throttle.mojove is 4lbs heavier

Is there a reason you don't run the ezrun motor? I notice there are 2 options 1650kv(3s-6s) and the 1100kv(I ASSUME this one takes up to 8s?)
I'm only thinking combos as they would be made for eachother. Bad enough I'm trying to figure which set up to go with that I don't need to add "what works good with what" to this equation.

I like my rides light as possible.the 1650kv is probley over 600grams an i see guys overheating them on 6s.smaller 420gram tp4050-2100kv is a complete animal on 8s an runs cool.i cant compare 2100kv motor to the 1650kv cause ive never had one.this setup was insane in mojave on 8s an never got above 135degrees.mojove with bigger tires an bigger kraton suspension.

I like big power,big speed.i keep mine light,lot less damage from high speed crashs.not much jumping.i learned by putting 6s systems in my 1/10 rides that ex-weight can ruin handling an performance an crashes wear more brutal,harder on drivetrain.if I add weight its for more power.

That thing is mental!! So did you say your running 8s on 2070kv? How is the max 6 holding up?

After run tp was 130s an max6 under 95.medium hard run,don't want to break it yet.gotta get good video first.ran these 300gram each 3700mah cheap packs.will try 2 of these heavy cnhl 65c packs later today

The cnhl 4s packs where to heavy for truck.ruined performance.8s senton is to fast.absolute rocket.most powerful rc ive driven by far.bkup throttle an truck shots strait up into air almost like when they parachute at speed.almoat backflipped it on accident.the power of this setup is mindblowing.
