Title basically says it all.
I got into this hobby pretty hard at the beginning of Summer. Invested in the Spektrum G2 LiPos and have been really happy with them. I find myself slowing down a bit lately and as such, don’t use my Granite daily anymore.
I was wondering about storing these Smart batteries when I am pretty sure it’s gonna be a few days until I run them again.
Do I charge them to full and let the “auto discharge” do its thing? (Which I have set currently to 48 hours) Or Do I just storage charge them to begin with?
Edit: something that prompted this question is I noticed that when I have storage charged my G2 LiPos that the charger doesn’t actually put a ton of mAh into the battery and it seems to put what little it does at a lower speed. The last time I storage charged the battery was not totally empty and still had about 30% left. Isn’t storage charged about 60% full?
