Went to park to run truck, grabbed wrong remote..lol.anyway motor go hot halfway through run.26t to tall.try a 20t.its super hot tonight here thou.but WOW,sidewinders2 took some abuse. Could only blip throttle an I would hear that dreaded flutter sound of tires about to come apart.truck had ALOT OF TOP SPEED LEFT TO GO.HALF THROTTLE TRUCK STARTED PARACHUTING.

So a 40mm can fits the chassis...

I was going to go 3674 but it's hard to find a reliable, cheap 4s capable motor. What made you decide to go 2000kv? I was under the impression 2600kv was okay for 4s, but was it running hot or something?

Yes,40 series fits.i was running that 4076,2000kv in big rock on 4s off road 6s big parking lot ripping with 150a hobbywing. An blx185 system in senton. Both trucks ran amazing with those systems in them no fans no overheating at all. The only problem was that the trucks got to be way too heavy.i liked the 50$ 4076 so much I ordered the 4068,2650kv to shed some weight an add some rpms.motor has a 18volt limits thou.5s max.. between motor + 3700mih 4s batteries I shedded 300 grams which is over half pound. I've ran this motor to texture it and it got hot both times I'm down to a 20t pinion turn on my switch back to the bigger ones till it cools down a little bit. I have ran these big 40 series Motors off a BLX stock 100 ESC.26t an they run good without overheating in 95 degrees day. Last run I blew the tire completely off the rim.dboots sidewinder 2s. I'm going to do some more adjustments and see if I can't get this motor to stay cool enough to go through a whole pack. I don't want to buy a heatsink fan for this motor because I know I can run the bigger ones on 4S with no fan or heatsink

I’m an offroad guy so I have no clue if it would work, but would a solid rubber rc tire (glued the heck out of it to the rim) not help in staying attached during very high speeds? I see them for only a few $ each so that could be interesting?

on my senton I've blown apart tons of tires I can't find a tire that can withstand the power.i want to keep sct tires on it .try badlands next.anybody now of a belt sct tire available??????? Belted tires are the only ones that can withstand the power. I've put hoons and grp street tires on there and they can handle the power but I want some off-road tires.these tires came stock on the senton 6s.

Put an almost new set of grps on for some out front street pulls.blx185esc,3s,20t,4068-2650kv fast enough,an fun ,an controllable.up an down street fast as I could control throu whole pack.came inside an 114 tops.i bet with fan on 3s 26t would be crazy.let it come down put 4s pack in an same thing, stopped half way throu,( trying not to piss off neighbors)came inside an 150 ish.this thing screams on 4s.way uncontrollable till them grps warmed up some then it was a blast.still nothing like first run with 26t. Maybe with a fan I can run that 26 tooth on 4S.outa these 4 motors I've had in truck this 4068 will be the best for my driving style if I can get it to stay cool enough .lightweight, high rpm, high torque .grps looked like this new one,1 3s run and 1/2 4s run ..lol.DRIFTSPINNING WHOLE TIME

I have the same issues with my 6s Senton, the sidewinders offroad would come apart. Gorilla glue seems to work better keeping tires together. I ordered these tires, well see how they work once I get some more glue.

Those look good.trying to 17mm sct tires is hard.im trying these next will update on how they hold up.set of each.buggy tires badlands are 117mm an grps are 113mm.ive had better luck buggy tires.maybe cause they have bigger rims, more rim to glue tire too I guess

Will have to time run on these 3700mih batteries they run a long time.dropped down to a 20t for the new taller badlands I'm gonna run.ran it HARD motor 110 an under.rear tires where 117..loltruck has tons of power an I managed 52mph on short street.fast enough for offroad badland ripping this weekend.THAT WAS ONE FUN SESSION,GOOD STREET,TIRE,GEAR,POWER SETUP. I'm going to keep doing it till Tire blows.
