Decided to pick up some buggy tires for my Granite. Only little bit smaller than stock wheels height wise. Have to give them a run in the morning and see how they hold up and handle. Here's some before during and after photos. Tires are 17mm hex being 1/8 scale so picked up the 12-17mm adapters. Seem like some decent tires mounted for $20 on eBay by ZD racing, only time and some 3s packs will tell?

How's it handle?
Was dark when I got them installed after work today so only got to go up and down small cement drive and little on gravel. So far a lot better turning and kept truck down with high speed turn instead of traction rolling with stock tires. I'll update in the morning after I run a 3s pack or two.

I put smaller tires when I'm tooling around the neighborhood, seems to help take some stress off the systems ;)

Definitely like these tires guys! They give a lot better handling on grass, cement and nice soft sandy dirt. They don't hardly balloon as there is not a lot of tire to expand so will see how much speed is lost being 110mm over stock 125mm. Post some video later of some speed runs on the new buggy tires but seems a lot of guys run these for speed runs so should be great.

Got some speed runs in with the tires here it is. Running just the 13t pinion so no crazy speeds but definitely happy. At most only lost 5mph from stock tires with the same setup over these buggy tires that are 15mm smaller and don't balloon. Definitely handle a lot better also.

*UPDATE* well think I hit something sharp on my property and running the 20t pinion blew out one of the tires already ?. Definitely disappointed only got two packs out of them.
