Bought this Typhon 6S RTR 2nd hand. It was an amazing deal cuz car was barely used, came with batteries and charger for £350.

However I suspect the car was standing on its wheels for like year and I think the springs might got 'tired' ? I refilled the shocks with 550cSt, stiffened the shocks but still, if I push down the cars nose, it stays there.

I had a brand new Typhon RTR in my hands few weeks ago and those shocks worked perfect.

What do you think, is it just my springs are gone?

Hard to say. Did you sufficiently fill the shocks with oil and properly bleed? Its possible seals or pistons are worn. Also ensure arms move freely up and down and hinge pins are not bent or rusted.
