What snap ring pliers work to remove the safe D clip on the motor?

Snap ring pliers are for snap rings, not for e-clips… Standard needle nose, or a small flathead work great.. Those clips aren’t needed imo, and are chucked in the trash straight away.

There are e-clip applicators, but get yourself a rigid flathead screwdriver and a nice set of precision needle nosed pliers for removal.

Magnets around anything you're putting in the hands of God when spring-loaded upon removal

Use an e clip tool https://a.co/d/7WA9cDs I have one similar to this, I swear mine was $10 though.

I use micro flathead screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Sometimes the e-clip flies across the room..50/50 recovery chance

Always have spare e-clips...just in case

Needle nose pliers, easy peasy. Haven’t lost one in years.
