Started on an on road and off road typhon build this week. Started with the on road, taking a v5 typhon chassis, senton arms/drive shafts, infraction towers/shocks and a max8 g2 2250kv combo and got it set decent on a Delta Plastik BMW body. I have some more jaegermeister decals coming that will fit the sides better. The number/driver decals are big too but i'm rolling with them since i couldn't find the same ones in a smaller scale. I goofed the front body mounts a little and centering them up but it came out ok. The tires barely clear the front when turned left or right.
Second up was the megalodon bodied typhon chassis. I used Just Bash It chassis/towers/ackerman/top plate/wing mount anchor/+2mm hex extenders, servo mount, and a basherqueen max6 holder. It's running talion towers, fireteam shocks and mojave arms as well, with the megalodon body. I screwed up the body post holes on this one as well and have another body coming. The black one is now discontinued but i found one on Amazon. The black tough body material is light and bends easily so we'll see how well it lasts. I was hoping to run the udr tires on the vitavon wheels (arthur confirmed they would work on mojave wheels and i had my doubts. Tried it today and it wasn't working so well so i went with hyrax instead) but settled on the hyrax today. I had initally set it up on the cheapo udr/mojave wheels from amazon/aliexpress. I found out i was short 2 non exb shock mount pins so i had to order more and stick the longer ones through to hold the shocks for now to keep going and get everything working together. Both cars have some kockoff aluminum hinge pin blocks and center braces from ebay too by the way. I'll decorate the new body for the megalodon when i get it in and finish up the on road car as soon as i get the decals in from canada.

I love that rally build, it is giving me many ideas for 1 of my 3 typhons. ;)
I’ve converted a lot of my typhons 😂 one I chopped 47mm out just in front of the center diff and had the chassis welded back together and made a 2wd 6s lightning McQueen before just bash it cut a smaller wheelbase chassis to fit the McQueen body.

Man those are some sweet builds! I cant believe that Senton 6s arms and shafts are not used enough in GT or Rally builds. They are perfect for most bodies.
I am new to arrma: are the senton arms wider or more narrow than the typhon and infraction arms? or are they in between the two?

They tuck away nice and neat inside bodies. Use others and you need wider bodies. Here is my 1/8 Senton(complete Senton dimension specs/parts except for the Limitless front tower to lower the body on the front.)

Now that you know the Senton has the shortest drive axles and suspension arms of the Arrma 1/8 fleet how would the others look with this standard 1/8 Protoform Corvette C7 SWB body? Same applies to the awesome Typhon rally car build above. The Senton short shafts/arms tucked the tires neatly in the wheel wells

I’ve used senton arms to tuck larger tires on my mojave as well. One on and one off road.

Calling the on road one done.
Fitted a Tbone front bumper with a wheelie bar wheel bar and put it on the rear of the off road megalodon ride and will be fitting the fireteam front bumper as soon as my hot racing front lower front hinge pin block comes in as it looks like it was meant to be on this truck!

Super badass!

Hot racing front lower hinge pin block came in! The rest of the lowers are cheap eBay aluminum blocks and the front upper rear has been swapped to the aluminum exb block. It’s like this bumper was made for the megalodon body!
