Amain still has these. I remember saving coins & going to the 5&dime store & getting one for 0.99 cents. They also had model car kits for $4.99-$5.99

Damn! I think they were a nickel when I was a kid. The big ones with rubber bands and a prop were a quarter.

They might have been cheaper. Can't remember perfectly. It was early mid 80s. The store had the rubber band ones too. All of em broke quick. At the checkout, they still used the punch key register & pull down handle. Next to it was a big jar of single wrapped bubble gum. Get one of those & glass Coke Cola in the pull down flap machine. And some peanuts. Put the peanuts in the Cola bottle.
