So I grabbed one of these a week or two ago. Have only really played with it. But after using it for a major repair I think it's worth reviewing and im glad its in my tool box now.

If you have a 3D pen share you experiences and tips/tricks you have done with it.

I had a failed print and had to cut and print a portion to make it whole. Needless to say it didnt work out very well. Again im no genius here, shoot from the hip as usual till I get my own process :ROFLMAO: .

Look at these gaps!!! The roof wasnt bad so its what I lined up very small gap, the sides however well... Take a look!!

Filled it in on the inside and outside:

Dremel for about 15 minutes then sanding for about 10 minutes. Not to shabby. Little primer filler will fix it all right up.

Cool, I had no idea that was even a thing.
Yeah I saw Uncle Jesse use one a couple months ago and was like Hmmmmm, lets try it.

Something cool I didnt really touch on either, you kinda learn it as you use it. The ceramic hotend is touching the sides of the print often times and it gets the old print melty while youre filling it. Really helps with filling and sticking the two parts together.

My 10 year old stepdaughter loves them and has two so she and a friend can do whatever they do with them.

Looks handy..
Better than just using a soldering iron alone.

haha it works magically...... don't mind the bad lines, it was hard to do with one hand. But with both hands free you can do like .5 or .6 layers thick np...

You could've immediately flip and smushed those built-up layers against a PEI build plate to help "smooth" it out and give it a finished surface...
