Has anyone tried using the 50T spur from the Vendetta or Infraction 3s?

Thinking 50T with 25/26t pionion would be pretty good, even on 2s.

The spur and gearbox from an Infraction is completely different setup than the Senton. It "might" fit, but you might also be replacing a bunch of other stuff to make it work too.

There is some stuff on ebay, that eliminate the slipper clutch. But it's ebay and you take your chances.

Your math is correct to get similar to 3S speed.

Stock .35088X3200KV*3*4.2 = 14112 RPM post spur.
Modified would be .5000 or .5200 = 13440 or 139776 RPM post spur.

What we don't know is how much strain it will put on the motor? It would be dead cold with the stock gearing but will the higher gears heat it up? Unfortunately the only way to find out is to try it and look at the temps. Unless someone has done the swap.

If it fits you will sacrifice torque. Speed running with a dead pull in a straight line then let it rest for 10 min is a lot different than bashing or racing where you constantly change the speed. It's all tuning for what your doing.

Also there are space limitations on your motor mount. There is a maximum/minimum gear combo you can use with the mount. At some point the selection of gears may be outside that range.

Another option is a motor swap. Typically lower S motors have higher KVs to make up for less voltage. You could move from a 3200KV to a 4500-5000 KV, but that's some $$$ for an experiment.

Personally the easy option is swapping the pinion up two teeth, then see how you like and check your temps are.

Thanks for all the insights. I’ll start with bigger pinion then go from there. Much appreciated!
