When connecting batteries in series both batteries should be from the same manufacturer, from the same series, the same mAh, the same c rate and the same age. It matters a lot more than people think, no matter what your combination of cells is your combination will only be as strong as your weakest cell. So if you combine a 2s 5000mah 30c with a 5000mah 100c you will only ever get 30c tops out of the pair. C rate will never scale when running batteries in series it is a constant.Could try that. How close of a mah & C rating do they need to be or does it matter?
