Any recommendations on paint an clear rc body matte

Do you guys have any idea on how to paint a clear body a matte color rather than the normal reflective that comes with paint a clear body
Not 100% sure, I'm sure someone will chime in who paints bodies.

I've airbrushed before though, and i would spray a matte colour to the 'underside' of the body.

There might be a matte that is a primer and top coat in one so would look good.

I would hit it with some clear coat afterwards.
 
Since they’re painted from the back, the surface of the lexan on the outside will always make it appear shiny. I have heard people discuss matte or flat clear coats on the outside of the body after it’s painted, but I can’t remember ever seeing a finished product.
Scuffing the body on the outside after painting has also been discussed and I have seen that attempted, and it looked pretty horrible to me.
Maybe @Ajag will chime in, he’s super experienced and so is @WildOwlWoodWorks
