Typhon Arrma Typhon front bumper recommendations?

I have a Typhon Mega I am upgrading to brushless. Is there any good front bumpers that will help protect the front of the vehicle?

How "protected" do you want it to be?

Just to prevent some curb rash to the nose? Or, I want to lawn dart it from 30ft jumps or take down a tree... type bull bar??

I don't know. I do some good sized jumps in my backyard but I am a pretty cautious driver. I want to be safe though with me using this typhon as my racing vehicle at my local track. I am pretty cautious. I have a Traxxas Hoss that besides the crap driveshafts have only ever broken a Steering block before.

Both provide decent protection across the front of the car for shocks and arms.

Yup they fit. I’ve tried them and don’t remember any mods needed. Just remove the existing ‘bumperette’ and should go right on.

I prefer the look of the Senton bumper (my first RC was a Tamiya Grasshopper II (Super G)), but I have doubts about its longevity.

The Vortex bumper feels much sturdier.

Hi there, could you advise on all the parts you ordered for the Granite front bumper?

I think I may need a few parts, including the bumper ARA320605, a spring set (possibly offset) AR320410, and also possibly a Granite skid plate AR320401.

Thanks, I'm fairly new to this so don't have any spares from other cars!

I believe you need the bumper and spring set, the bumper is installed with the skid plate already on the typhon…

That's worked great. I just used the bumper and spring. Thankfully the spring came with screws to attach to the bumper. The standard skid plate accepted the bumper no problem.
