  1. Typhon 3s
shake down test of the kraton exb to typhon , and its blooming fantastically great . perfect in my little garden , great handling and loadsa fun too , still on standard gearing but will change that in the future , the kraton front shocks on the rear and the mojave front shocks appear to work superbly

You converted a Kraton EXB to Typhon? Looks awesome lots of fun
yep , went to the local hobbyshop and my ordered radix6 had not arrived so brought the kraton exb , which turned into a talion-ish and at last , is now the buggy i actually wanted , well nearly cos its the typhon and not the radix , but very pleased nevertheless

Pretty awesome. So you have a Typhon with all the EXB goodies now and wider stance from the Kraton hubs. Im jealous!

Two awesome bashes completed , only damage is the rear wing mount and rear tower when she bounced off a curb upside down , the tyres were bald after one lipo . Excellent , all clean again , parts n new tyres to be ordered , she may be on kraton gearing but she still cuts along , keeping it straight is fun

so shes back after a week as a talion , the buggy kept calling . shes now sporting a 20t pinion and the kraton front bumper when in my garden , and tonight i`m glad i did cos she smacked into a tree , the fence and the house , well it was dark and this little rocket nips across my 8meter garden in a nano second , first time with the standard tyres too , superb , oh and i gonna try a radix rear wing mount as she looks bare at the back and i break the mounts lots

The little rocket is awesome , Christ when it hooks up , it flies . Motor is now getting hot so may invest in a fan

Round two was with zero timing and badlands , I prefer the buggy tyres but she was still great fun . She also went from full wheel spin to full grip and completed an instant flip with an horrendous gear crunching noise , I’ve checked the diffs and all appears well . She carried on till lvc kicked in . Lovely

Well it was pouring down and I was as muddy as the typhon , brilliant fun indeed , can’t wait to get her out to bigger and better areas , a quick hose down and blast with air and she’s ready for the next blast

Spot the difference , yep , have put the kraton droop screws in and moved the shock positions , she sits lower front n back with the front slightly more so . I do enjoy the buggy as you can tell

Two brilliant bashes this morning. One in a huge open area of hardcore and grass. The other a local wood . I really could not fault this little buggy , I was gonna convert back to talion , but not now , spot she was , even made me look good , so that’s saying something

Watch out for those trees, they bite!
When the buggy was the original kraton EXB mode it smacked them trees many many times 😂
So a full check over and the rear tower was bent and I had trashed another rear diff case . So the buggy has been stripped bare , cleaned and for a spot of fun , I’ve put the kraton EXB front tower on so I can stand the shocks up to try or put back to near normal position . The huge rear tower has arrived , it’s for the non EXB kraton , so it’s gonna get drilled to suit talion and typhon shock positions . So many choices . Oh and this coming this weekend is the buggy’s last flight as I got some time off soon and going to find some talion areas

The buggy is ready to rock , I’ve cut the big lugs off the rear tower and re-drilled to suit the typhon , also drilled it for when it’s a talion , so hopefully one tower suits all . Have lowered it a tad more too as not heading to the rough stuff . Roll on the weekend
