So today I took my notorious to the skate park for the first time and really beat on it besides my ramps I have and use in the grass. Well I broke some things first off let me state I had hell of a good time and cant wait to improve my skills and go bigger haha well let's start with the truck it's a 2019 notorious running on 2 Dynamite 5000mah 50c 3s, Armorwerks servo mount, RPM front upper and lower arms, hot racing front hubs and bearings upgraded receiver with a futaba 3pv 304. 2nd set of backflips sanded and glued taped vents and revented on tread 2 holes @180° removed long stock front bumper and just using small inner piece 2nd set of diffs and housings from Jenny's running 100k200k100k heatsink on motor I'm sure im missing something

But any anyway on to what I broke first off stock bumper is ripped on lower holes and upper bolts are bent. Next is I broke the rear arm carrier as well as I've been having a problem with the front steering rod end keeps popping off of the ball and lastly I blew a rear lower shock cap off (but found it!) And kind of cracked a front bolt that holds the shock on.

I will include some pictures of what's wrong what I am trying to get at is what is recommended for fix these problems, replace what needs to be with what's more suitable for bashing and any other tips I would really appreciate it thank you in advance.

Sorry for the long post but also to mention the rear carrier did not fall or rip off the shocks are fine i did also mess up some teeth on my new diffs one on the front and two teeth on the rear and I also have some clips from earlier as well I couldn't record in other areas by myself but I had fun on almost every ramp.

???

Wow. That's some carnage.

I actually don't think it was to bad I'm new to this and rcs in general I've only been doing this sense about July I bought a slash and got hooked and from what I read and see most of this seems like common brakes I know the diffs were my fault I self righted and I heard one shear

Any recommendations on the rear carrier brace? Also how are people keeping their batterys connected during bashing I had my batters disconnect multiple times the batterys were not shifting it was the esc plugs kept shifting I tried the factory hooks, under the center diff support cage to hold tight and just free flot and all kept coming unplugged after a hard landing

Never "self right". Being lazy will cost you. And always "off throttle" under load at moment prior to landing contact. A lot of your carnage appears to be user error. That's fine. We all did that. Just replace with stock parts. (y) IMO. You did most of the important upgrades already. (y)And keep going. You are on the right track. You are driving the way these 6S rigs were meant. Just work on your wheel/ Th. control. Good work.(y)

To keep the batteries from unhooking hold the rear of the connections in the little clip thingy and strap the wires down with the battery strap in front of the connections. It has no where to go.
For the suspension carrier get them from jennysrc. Here’s a link, for 25$ you get them all plus the bumper and lots of other bits https://jennysrc.com/collections/ar...-v4-battery-receiver-tray-roll-tower-ar106042
T-Bone and rpm make good bumpers if you like to try them also many aftermarket manufactures make those suspension carriers. I just use the stock ones.

I think I'm going to to go with voltage hobbies rear axle carrier, Kraton front bumper was with rpm order some more diffs a bolt set and ball cup set from Jenny's. And yes I know I need to work on throttle and landings as well as go by what I said to myself the first time I rebuilt the diffs and actully not self right this time.

I would recommend this mod on the shock tower. To keep the steering links on I put on a right sized automotive o-ring. I have it in one of my videos. Keep practicing it will get better. I would also look at HR suspension mounts that cut the breakage down considerably. Bash on ??

Hey @Rich8692. All I know is that you're doing it right. Fix, replace and upgrade whatever you like. If you aren't breaking something, then you're doing it wrong. One thing to remember when you start replacing parts, if it isn't aluminum to begin with, be careful about changing it. The only parts where aluminum is better than stock, are the f/r chassis braces and servo mount. Damage takes the path of least resistance. Most of the composite pieces that fail during extreme bashing are inexpensive. A pain to replace, but cheap. Some break by design to make sure that other components aren't affected. No matter what, the harder and higher you go, the more things are going to break. It's all part of the fun and frustration of this hobby. Lot of other great advice by the members already, but as you get better at driving, the damage totals are less frequent and mostly less expensive. Happy bashing!
