Evening all

One of my front shocks on my outcast 4s is bent. Can just the metal piece be replaced? I would obviously have to take it all apart etc.. and rebuild with shock oil.

I'm looking for a part number but cant find one on the exploded diagram the car came with but I've seen people rebuild these on some Arrma models?

Any advice is appreciated

Thanks

I believe the shaft is vulcanized into the lower cup.. so basically no.

You can buy the whole set for $37 at JennysRC.com

The shocks that you see folks rebuild are either the 6S or 8S shocks
or aftermarket units.

Thanks all. Another question for you all, is there a part number for the picture attached. I have seen this before being sold but cant find it anywhere
Thank you

Yes.
But you can probably get the whole shock (in a complete set) cheaper at JennysRC.com

You only need this part ARA330706 https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/shock-shaft-4-x-62mm-2/ARA330706.html
Or this one depending on if it is the front or the rear ARA330707 https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/product/shock-shaft-4x73mm-2/ARA330707.html

The short ones are the front the long ones are the rear.

What he said. Just buy the whole set and have spares.

He can almost buy 4 pairs of shock shafts for the same price as 4 shocks. 4s shocks are $37 before shipping on Jennys shock shafts are $9. I don't see a lot of people damaging their 4s shocks so I would rule this as a case of bad luck and do not see the need in having an entire spare set of shocks.

Good point, good point. Only issue I ever had on my Big Rock was pulling the ends out.
