It’s no Ride of the month but I think it looks pretty good overall👍🏼

Tried a single color this time with some chameleon pearl in the green..unfortunately it doesn’t seem to come through in the pics

sorry for the questions, are you using any adhesive promotor prior to painting? how does the createx hold up? that is what i purchased but have yet to spray a body with an airbrush

Iv’e probably painted about 500-600 bodies in the past couple years so I’ve learned a lot along the way
I’ve found the best adhesion is from scotch briting the body then cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol. I mix my createx paint about 70/30 with createx 4050 clear and this has proven to be the best mix
I’ve cut the rear diffuser and adjusted the mounts
Here’s the final look

I am hoping to set this up for my Infraction and had a question about the same interference. Looks like you got it sorted out.
Car looks great.

FWIW, mine fit just fine without any modification to the diffusor on my Infraction.

Sometimes I wonder why u downplay your work or act so modest.. like hey, I'm Ajag and I paint "ok" rc bodies!! Like really dude c'mon get outta here!! 🤯

How do you expect them to act?

Like he's the best damn r/c painter on this forum!! 🤣
Thank you but honestly there’s so many talented painters out there ..I believe in modesty ..I’m not a huge fan of arrogant people or people that think they’re great just because they’re good at something..we’re all great at something ..my skill just happens to be painting..but I’ve also invested hundreds of hours of practice into it so it’s not even like a natural talent..just a learned one

But I appreciate the positive feedback..I really do 👍🏼👍🏼

I did a quick preliminary fit yesterday and discovered the interference potential. Was wondering how folks are approaching this. I'm confident I'll get it lined up, just good to see potential options.

I just trimmed the rear lower diffuser a little bit to get the body to sit lower on the chassis

@Ajag I think I just figured out why mine fit without modifyication of the diffusor.

I had modified the front hingpin holder of the rear bulkhead to give me 0° toe-in...which obviously moves the wheels back a smidge. It's not a lot, but it might have just been enough to make enough clearance that the body is able to envelope the diffusor. That's my working hypothesis at the moment anyways.
