Blx185 - 4 green lights… toast?

Need a second opinion.

I have the 4 green flashing leds on the esc. Steering is fine, batteries are fine. No throttle.

I tried to hold down the set button and power it on to reset, but doesn’t make a change. Still flashing.

I saw a few vids showing removing some of the motor leads, when i would do this i would see the motor partly spin, but not throttle control. Tried on the color leads, no change.

Still just flashing 4 green leds. Is there some other reset method?

Try re-binding your reciever first. I'm pretty sure I had that exact same problem once and re-binding fixed it.

Edit - My bad mine was with the blx100 not the blx 185. Hopefully it still helps.

4 green flashing lights = bricked esc. There were a few guys that apparently got theirs to come back to life. If you browse through this thread what they did is in there somewhere https://www.arrmaforum.com/threads/blx185-no-throttle-green-light-flashes-4-times.5116/

If you are looking for something comparable to replace it with either the Hobbywing Max8 or the Castle Mamba Monster 2. If you want more power the Hobbywing Max6 or the Castle Mamba Monster X 8s. The cheapest I would go is a Hobbywing 8BL150 or another BLX185.
