Big Rock Body skids to protect front body posts

I believe the kraton has these small pucks that screw to the hood. This helps keep the tops of the front body posts from grinding down. Anyone install these or some other ideas?

I have them on all my trucks. Easy to install. Cheap to buy. A pack comes with 4 pairs if I recall.

I eliminated body posts all together. I found that the posts were causing a lot of damage aside from being an extreme weak point. It might look odd, but with some foam attached to the top of the towers, this system if thin rubber ties has saved me a lot of grief since I started using it. I used zip ties first, but they are too brittle.

I find I break the body posts before they get ground down.

I am not sure but I think he means this

to protect the actual body from getting scratched by the body clips

Nope. Old blades from windshield wipers. I kind of like the bow on the front and back. Makes it look like a present?
