Vorteks Boost motor upgrade

I’m looking to upgrade my boost to 3s brushless but was wondering if I should go with the spectrum firma 3200kv that the blx comes with or is there any better options I should look at?

Hobbywing Max10sct ESC and Hobbywing or Hobbystar 3660/3200kv motor is probably about the best option you could shoot for.

You can get some nice rtr takeoffs from ebay. 3660-3670 in a 3000-3500kv range would make it scream! Search ebay for max10 sct esc..

I believe the Max10 SCT has been discontinued. Replaced by the sensored “Max10 G2 140 amp”.

I’ve been looking at the ezrun 3660 4000kv, do you think this would be too much? And for the max 10 should I go for the 60a or the 120a?

4000kv is too high.

I’d get the bigger ESC.

I agree with @dure16 lower kv for heavier vehicles, and overhead in the esc is your best bet.
