I’m sure that a direct drop-in brushless replacement kit for the Typhon Grom hasn’t been marketed yet. With that being said, I’d like some info. on who has done the modification (simple as possible), and what products you purchased & used with success. Not looking to set any speed records, just a moderate increase without being to squirrelly.
 
Plenty of granite groms have been converted/built brushless.

I went with a dumbo x6 combo, Hobbywing 16bl30-2838 4500kv with OEM gearing. 30mph on 2S but 90 mm tires so you might want to gear/kv up to gain the speed you desire.

Nice install. Looks like you didn't have to hack up the chassis either. 30mph is plenty fast for that little bugger.
